Day 0 : Verbier

ARRIVAL IN VERBIER

Have you just travelled across several time zones to get to Switzerland? If so, we recommend arriving one or two days before your adventure begins. This will allow your body to recover and avoid flight or luggage delay-related issues. It will also give you time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Verbier.

Day 1 : Verbier - Nendaz

AN INCREDIBLE ADVENTURE BEGINS

After a short warm-up, the trip begins with a sublime descent on a flow trail.

It's time to begin the adventure!

The afternoon unfolds through enchanting larch forests, where the light filters softly through the trees and the trail keeps us grinning at every turn. As we roll into Nendaz, the promise of a well-deserved wellness session awaits, a perfect way to relax in the breathtaking mountain scenery that surrounds us.

Day 2 : Nendaz - Val d'Hérens

Riding the dream ridge

The day begins with a steady climb that opens onto a high alpine ridge, wide and exposed, with the valleys falling away on both sides. From there, two long descents roll out one after the other, the kind that seem to stretch time and thought, pure mountain riding, nothing extra. A narrow, technical singletrack ties it all together through raw terrain, just enough effort to remind us why we’re here, before a final short push leads to our refuge for the night, where tradition and comfort wait without making a fuss.

Day 3 : Val D'Hérens - Val d'Anniviers

EARNING THE VIEW

Breakfast comes with one of the toughest climbs of the week, steep and unapologetic, the kind that quietly dares you to stay on the bike. The reward is worth it though, a high-altitude pocket of calm where an emerald lake reflects the surrounding peaks. From there, a descent drops us into scenery that barely feels real, before the afternoon softens into winding trails through golden larch forests, easing us toward a historic mountain hotel, full of character and stories that seem to linger in the walls.

Day 4 : Val d'Anniviers - Zermatt

CHASING THE MATTERHON

Last but not least, the final day kicks off on a magnificent trail with panoramic views. A series of playful trails is going to bring us to the foot of the mythical Matterhorn.

We did it, congratulations!

We’ll end the e-bike adventure in a wonderful spa hotel in Zermatt, facing one of the most beautiful peaks in the Alps. Take the time to relax your muscles and reminisce about the past 4 incredible days.

Day 5 : Zermatt

ONE LAST RIDE IN ZERMATT?

You’ve got two options this morning: make the most of one last ride facing the Matterhorn, or relax with a coffee on a terrace? If your legs are up for it, we recommend the first option. Incredible landscapes, mythical trails and views of the Matterhorn from every angle will allow you to end the trip on a high.

It’s already time to go home, with a smile on our faces and the memories of an incredible alpine adventure in our minds. Next time, why not try the UNESCO Haute Route?

2 years ago, it was a dream and now it is the greatest adventure in my life. A big hand to the group leaders Christian and Elise who know the area and helped us make decisions to see and do, as well as to take part in a trail system that is something that took them many years to learn.

Have just finished the Chamonix to Zermatt Haute route with E Alps. It was a fantastic trip. Our guides Clement and Gaspar were brilliant. They taught us new skills, encouraged us to try new things and made us laugh! Eduardo prepared great food each day and made the logistics of looking after clients seem easy. The Hotels we stayed in were good ( la Sage and Bella Tolla were fantastic), the scenery was incredibly beautiful but the guides were the cherry on the cake!

I cannot say enough about the extraordinary experience we had on the Friends and Family Haute Route mountain bike trip with E-Alps. Our guides, Boris and Elise, were truly exceptional. Their deep local knowledge brought the stunning Swiss Alps to life in a way that only true experts can, enriching every moment of the journey with fascinating insights and insider tips. What impressed me most was their incredible effort and dedication throughout the trip. They skillfully adapted and improvised routes and plans to meet the unique needs and preferences of each participant, ensuring everyone felt supported and challenged in just the right way.
