Day 2 : Nendaz - Val d'Hérens

Riding the dream ridge

The day begins with a steady climb that opens onto a high alpine ridge, wide and exposed, with the valleys falling away on both sides. From there, two long descents roll out one after the other, the kind that seem to stretch time and thought, pure mountain riding, nothing extra. A narrow, technical singletrack ties it all together through raw terrain, just enough effort to remind us why we’re here, before a final short push leads to our refuge for the night, where tradition and comfort wait without making a fuss.

Day 3 : Val D'Hérens - Val d'Anniviers

EARNING THE VIEW

Breakfast comes with one of the toughest climbs of the week, steep and unapologetic, the kind that quietly dares you to stay on the bike. The reward is worth it though, a high-altitude pocket of calm where an emerald lake reflects the surrounding peaks. From there, a descent drops us into scenery that barely feels real, before the afternoon softens into winding trails through golden larch forests, easing us toward a historic mountain hotel, full of character and stories that seem to linger in the walls.
